a day trip visiting the pollution free hideaway place at Sekeping Serendah located near the town of Serendah with about an hour drive from KL. Sekeping Serendah consists of 5 sheds set within 5 acres of tropical rainforest. The sheds float gently over the forest floor beside a bubbling brook. with a costs of RM600++ (Glass shed) you can have yourself free from the hectic life in the city and embrace by the mother of nature with trees, monkeys, insects and countless mosquitoes biting free on your body:P... swimming naked in the freezing pool outside the jungle & BBQ at night with the jokes flowing through each others.

Spending 4 days in Bali with a bunch of best buddies for a quick recharge. We got the air ticket about 6 months before the travel date and it can consider a long wait for us. Making an early air ticket booking is always a gamble for me as it always hard to get myself free on the date of the confirmed flight due to my job nature. But luckily enough that i was free for my Bali trip this time but unfortunately one of my friend has to delayed 1 day due to a last minute call back from his company. no map, no tour guide, first time visit, a completely unfamiliar place to us with just a rusted old cheap Jeep accompany for the whole 4 days. the Jeep is consider the cheapest vehicle in Bali, 500,000 rupiah for 4 days. i'm not sure whether this is the best price or not but i believe it's low enough for other tourist in Bali. remember always bargain for whatever things you buy. Below are some pictures taken during the trip.

Jen's husband is an ice skating coach from Hong Kong and has been coaching for about 8 years time (if i'm not mistaken) at sunway pyramid ice rink and now he has returned back to his own country to continue his ice skating career. They know each other through ice skating and fell in love with each other in the later time. How perfect it would be if the dinner is held at the ice rink with the couple skating out from the entrance and perform with love song playing as background music...that's wonderful:) It was really a pleasure to be part of their wedding and Jen & Indy are really an easy going & friendly people. We have organized a BBQ Gathering last Saturday where we invited all our company staffs from former staffs to newly recruited staffs together. it was a great Saturday night as this was the first time we gathered all the staffs together though some of them was unable to join us but still wish to see them all together in one day. although we were caught in a rain right before we live up the fire but luckily we managed to transfer to the dome near by (WTF, let's put the blame on Daniel as he was the one who booked the venue KNN). Well, so wasted we didn't manage get to eat the rabbit meat brought along by Moon, listen up Moon, will burn your bunny lively one day.. haha..:P

We then make a visit to Sg. Palas Boh tea farm in Brinchang before heading back to KL.

Sg Palas Boh Plantation in Brinchang is one of the three tea plantations in Cameron Highland run by the Boh Tea Plantations. Altogether, the Boh Tea Plantation has a total of 8000 acres planted with tea. Its other plantations are at In addition to Boh, another major tea plantation in Cameron Highlands is the Bharat Tea Plantation near Ringlet.

The Boh Tea Plantations were started by John Archibald Russell, the son of a government official, in 1929. He partnered with A.B. Milne, an old tea planter from Sri Lanka, where tea is grown extensively in places such as Nuwara Eliya. With a concession of land from the government, the planters created the first highland tea garden in the then Malaya.

Today Boh owns four tea gardens in the country, namely Boh, Sg Palas and Fairlie in Cameron Highlands, and Bukit Cheeding in Selangor. The Boh company produces 4 million kgs of tea annually, equivalent to 5.5 million cups per day. They garner the lion share of the tea produced in Malaysia, which is 70% of all production. English Tea Garden

We reached Cameron Highland around 4:30pm and moved in to Iris hotel located in Brinchang Town. After settled down everything we drove around to look for a place for our late high tea session, we then stopped at the Bala's Holiday Chalet hotel in Tanah Rata as being impressed by its amazing comfortably environment. The Bala's Holiday Chalet has cozy accommodations, it is a very English type of architecture building which surrounded by flowers and trees. We headed to its beautifully tended English garden behind the hotel and having our tea session with the beautiful scene. Highly recommended for those who plan to go Cameron Highland!

完成了美莲和志航他们的婚礼拍摄后感觉轻松了许多，一连串的活动让我透不过气来，工作上的忙碌让我的生活变得很充实也很实在。整个拍摄过程满顺利的，只有少许的技术问题困扰着我。对这次的拍摄心得我给于两个字：用心。摄影易学不易精，只要有相机任何人都能拍出照片来，但是要拍出好的照片就得用心与投入。这次的拍摄我绝对百分之一百的投入，虽然成果不至于惊天地，泣鬼神但是至少我是完完全全投入在整个拍摄过程之中。

Being apart after the Langkawi trip, we are once again gathered together to explore the world with our camera. We have less people compare to previously but it doesn't stop us from doing crazy things all day long. This time, with our Myvi Club President Joshua as our driver, we heading to the place that filled with most historical buildings in town. Walking through Malacca street is exhausted and with the high temperature of reaching 40 degree celsius we almost get burn lively without any mercy from the nature. however, with the determination of going for the satay celup (satay steamboat) that keep us fighting all the way until night (we still dint get to eat satay celup at the end due to the terrible congestion, pity Ryan)

This place is perhaps the most attractive & peaceful place that I've ever came across in Malacca. It was once an important trade route during the heydays of Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century and now it merely serve as a tourist attraction. Thanks to the invention of light bulb by Thomas Alva Edison that make this world become so attractive and beautiful. With the risk of getting caught by the traffic police i grabbed my DSLR in a speed of light and put the scene into my album. Darren in da house!! no nice pic to share here, just my name created with my DSLR... Chinese people believe a destiny of a person is much related to his/her name. A good name may brings a good life to you whereas a bad name may destroy your life. Some people believe some people don't. People claims that the chinese name of uncle lim carry all the element of "wood" that's why he owns a mountain (Should ask my mom to name me "Shi Jie" (The World) so i can own the world:P). Believe it or not? up to you... it's just a matter of Feng Shui. I don't know how important a name for a person but i know it is important when come to business world. Microsoft, Google, E-bay, BMW, Toyota, Honda, KFC, Mcdonald, Coca-Cola, Panasonic, Sony, Darren etc are all the well-known brand in the world. Well...What's the meaning of Darren? perhaps "GREAT" is the only explanation i can find:P hohoho

A Great Escape

Another great escape I've been waiting for a long time. Endless workload, stresses, problems, tonnes of bills and so forth putting me in a routine day life that nearly lost my direction of life and taking a short break is a way to recharge either mentally or physically to enable me to take more challenges in the coming future. Making a trip to the beach will always be my first priority as this is the ideal place for me to escape from the city and step into the world of nature. Sun, beaches, ocean and bikini girls(most importantly) swipe away tremendous workload and of cause the exhausted mindset. I had lots of fun throughout the whole trip, thanks to my new buddies who bring so much of joys and happiness that really enrich the whole trip.

This photo was taken when i was walking towards the ferry, i was wondering what is the mood of the fisherman at that time, are they enjoying their holiday or they are thinking of making extra income during this holiday...

The whether is damn bloody hot when we reached the beach, i was hiding behind the coconut tree to put on the sunblock and captured this photo.

Life is a series of choice, though you can't choose the life you want but you can choose how you want it to be

the value of life is depends on how you value yourself.

The advantage of the beach is that you can jump like a monkey and no one will bother you:)

All of us carry a different mask when we meeting different people, we will only be our own when we are alone.

An awning is like a shelter that allow us to hide when we are helpless but it doesn't provide a long term shelter for us, we have to find a shelter that protect you and your beloved.

Success is unseen and never be an easier way, you have to go through all the ups and downs and the one who stand until the last is the one who getting close to success.

When we are tired, we go for a rest. it doesn't mean we run away from the cruel world, we reset our mind and back to the battlefields with a new fresh mind.

Life is a journey, you won't stop until you find a place that make you stop.

We don't need human made objects when nature is our home. The sea is our pool, the sand is our deck chair and we are the guest of the nature:)

End of the trip, reality is waiting for us, fighting hard next day to make our dream come true. See ya my lovely island.

Nine Emperor God Festival

When i was enjoying my favorite drama on Astro suddenly i got a call from my buddy asking me to join their photography session at Nine Emperor God Temple which located in Ampang. Nine Emperor God Festival is a chinese festival to celebrate the return from heaven to earth of the nine emperor spirit. The festival falls on the ninth day of the ninth moon in the chinese lunar calender and it is claim that there will be rain through out the 9 days of the celebration. on the 1st day of the ninth moon, it is believe that the Nine Emperor God will arrive through the waterways thus devotees will welcome the Nine Emperor God at the sea-shore or river side. Devotees will dressed in traditional white, carrying joss stick and candles, await the arrival of their Excellencies. We arrived at the temple around 11:30pm and out of my expectation the crowd is less than what i expected. I been visited this temple since i was very young and i stop visiting after graduated from college cause being hated too many crowd and smoke! revisiting this temple recall me lot of sweetest memory from the young age, having lot of fun with my both sisters and parents...with my camera, i started up my journey with my past memory...

Water Drop

few weeks ago i spotted a photo sharing website that gather tonnes of photography fever showing their great work on the website...most of their works are really impressive and amazed. i especially like this fellow that shoot mostly on water droplet..she shows how wonderful by using her camera to look into the water world...u can check out her works on this website http://www.flickr.com/photos/cafrine/sets/72157594541417872/. being influenced by her skill, i started up my project on water droplet with my newly bought Nikon D40. At the beginning stage i find so damn hard to shoot on water droplet as it require lot of patient and time which i nearly giving up of the project...with my determination and continuous effort finally i managed to come out this outcome...(it spend me few days to master the skill but still need lot of improvements and still in learning how to make it better)
